Pamela is an entrepreneur based in New York and the author of the popular book “Job Interviewing Strategies for Teens” which is a useful and crucial tool for helping teens and young adults (ages 14-24) prepare for job interviews. She also created a dynamic and robust workshop of the same name which incorporates music, videos and engaging discussion to train teens and young adults what to do before, during and after a job interview to increase their chances of being hired. She really cares about the youth and it comes across in her program.
Pamela is married with two grown sons who she taught these strategies to first, when they were teens. To date, her sons receive a job offer in their chose professions after every job interview. Her sons, Marc and Chris suggested that she teach the strategies so that other teens could have the same advantage they had. Pamela believes in our youth’s potential and is committed to offering her workshop nationwide to bring them these necessary life skills. Pamela holds a B.A. in Business and a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership. She combines her business acumen and work experience to present a dynamic workshop of relevant information. Pamela’s “Job Interviewing Strategies for Teens” workshop is a robust, “real talk” engaging and informative program that resonates with teens.
She engages with them in a way that holds their attention and the information resonates with participants in a way that they can retain what they’ve learned.
Testimonial:
If you are looking for a presenter to provide workshops for teens on job search readiness and preparation themes, I highly recommend Pamela Bodley. For several years now, the Westchester Library System (WLS) has been contracting her services to provide the work readiness sessions included in the youth development programming it offers in different Westchester communities.
Based on my observations of her workshops, I found Mrs. Bodley to be a top-notch presenter. Her sessions not only provided practical, valuable information tailored to the age of the participants, but also were delivered in a style which effectively engaged the teens. Feedback received from participants has been great. WLS expects to continue to offer Pamela Bodley’s workshops as part of its future youth development programming.
